This is the accessibility statement for the Metrospective web service
This accessibility statement applies to the Metrospective service. Metropolia University of Applied Sciences strives to meet the criteria outlined in the WCAG 2.2 guidelines at the A and AA levels.
Our goal is to provide digital services that are accessible to all users. In this accessibility statement, we outline the accessibility issues found within the service and explain how you can provide feedback and suggestions for improving the service’s accessibility. This accessibility statement was published on 21 January 2025.
The description of the site's accessibility is based on an assessment by Metropolia and an external expert organisation.
Status of the Digital Service's Accessibility
The service largely meets accessibility requirements.

Perceivable
There are issues in responsiveness
Some content is lost when the screen is narrowed to 320 CSS pixels wide. (1.4.10)
Keyboard focus contrast is insufficient in some places
There are areas in the service where the keyboard focus contrast is too weak against the background. (1.4.11)
Operable
Skip to content links do not work with all technologies
The skip to content links do not move the view when using the VoiceOver screen reader on iOS devices. (2.4.3)
Robust
There are deficiencies in the implementation of image views
The images that open are missing a descriptive role. Closing the view does not return the focus to the element that opened the view. (4.1.2), (2.4.3)

The service may include third-party content that does not meet all accessibility requirements.

If you notice an accessibility issue on our page, please provide us first with feedback. It can take 14 days for us to respond. If you are dissatisfied with the response or do not get a response in two weeks, you can ask for clarification or make a complaint to the Finnish Transport and Communicatios Agency Traficom. It is clearly stated on their website how to make the announcement and how it is processed.
